Earlier this month the Capital Crossroads Vision Strategic Plan was released to the public. This plan, the culmination of nearly a year’s worth of work, is a five year “roadmap” for the development of Central Iowa. The plan document itself is a healthy 100 pages in length and a bit intimidating to digest. It covers everything from business to culture to the environment and I’m just now getting the chance to delve into it.

The pages most apropos to the Silicon Prairie News community are 23-26, part of the section “Start-up and Sustain.”

I’ll be writing in-depth on this part of the plan in the coming months, but for now, I encourage everyone to check it out at capitalcrossroadsvision.com.
